MTS Contest #19

The 19th MTS Contest was a huge success, with a large variety of electronic dance music entered in the contest. Whether it was dubstep, house, or even minimal trance, there was so much great stuff entered. Here are the tracks that stood out the most!

1) Zaqs - Portal (GXVM Remix)

From the beginning of the remix, you can tell that something amazing's about to occur. The introduction really brought me into this track, but it was the later aspects of the track that really stood out the most. The heavy drop was really crazy, really showing some crazy basslines. Congratulations GXVM on winning the 19th MTS Promotional contest!


2) Sqeepo & Broach - Robot Monster

Sqeepo entered with his collaborative track, "Robot Monster." This title really fit the theme of the entire song extremely well. The dark mood of the track was met with an astounding drop. The epic drop was met with a sweet melody, and some great percussion. The way this track fit together was astounding. Congratulations Sqeepo on placing 2nd in the 19th MTS Contest!


3) StationSix - ReaKt

StationSix always really has some great uplifting progressive music to share. His track, ReaKt, is no exception, and is an awesome, chilled tune with a really uplifting vibe. The entire track has a great flow and melody to it, and is a real pleasure to listen to.

Honorable Mentions:

• niceFingers - Mind Render: This dubstep track has an amazing, ominously chilled vibe to it. It was really awesome to listen to!
• Vikt0r - Cosmic: This glitch track was really fun to listen to, with a great, glitchy feeling to it. I can't wait until the full version is released!
