MTS Contest #23

This concludes the 23rd MTS Contest! This week's entries were really incredible, and were really amazing to listen to. Without further ado, here are the winner's that really stood out in this week's contest!

#1 - Cyrus Reynolds - Second Dawn (Trandcention Remix)
Follow Trandcention here
Trandcention entered with his awesome remix of Second Dawn, by Cyrus Reynolds. It is a chilled orchestral dubstep piece, and truly sounds amazing. Right from the beginning, the cello kicks in, and gives the track a great mood. This soon builds up into a pretty sick drop, with a crazy melody. Amazing track, Trandcention, and congratulations!

#2 - Gotye - Somebody That I used To Know (INΔKI Remix)
Follow INΔKI here
There have been many "Somebody That I Used To Know" remixes lately. Almost too many. However, INΔKI really destroys it in his remix, with a really incredibly unique combination of dubstep and trance. Gotye and Kimbra's vocals are a nice added touch to it ;). Awesome track, and congratulations on placing 2nd!

#3 - The Cataracs - All you ft. Kaskade and Waka Flocka (Mr. Straightface's Epic Ass Bootleg)
Follow Mr Straightface here

Mr Straightface is back, with his bootleg remix of  the Cataracs' "All You." It's really cool how this dubstep piece track works out. It has some really funky riffs, that blow into an intense Mr Straightface drop. The wobbles are crazy, and sound awesome. Congratulations on placing 3rd, Mr Straightface!

Honorable Mentions:

  • GXVM - How Bout' We Funk: This piece is a pretty unique funk hop track, and has some really awesome bass riffs, that go along really well with the funky mood. Awesome track, GXVM!
  • KaHD - Takeover - This is a pretty cool dubstep piece, that has an astoundingly great introduction, with some cool vocal samples in between. Give this a listen!
