"SSMMAASSHH" by Modigs is labeled by himself as "Baked Potato." I think it's more along the lines of dubstep. It's another original track by Modigs, that has a really different sound than his other tracks. It has a chilled, but pumping intro, that quickly escalates into an awesome bass sound, and then builds up in to a crazy Modigs drop. Give this a listen!

MTS Contest #27

There were many entries in this week's contest, many of which sounded amazing. These finalists were really hard to narrow down. However, in the end, these tracks really stood out. Here they are!

1. Paul Atrocity - Orgonometric

Orgonometric is an incredible drum and bass track, by Paul Atrocity. It really is amazing to listen to, and has a great beat. The bass just rips though mercilessly, and give the track a really fresh feeling. The music isn't the only thing great about Orgonometric, however. The music video is absolutely incredible. Watch it, and see the epicness ;). Congratulations on winning the 27th MTS Contest!

2. Mind Click - Story of a Drop

Story of a Drop is the first track of Mind Click, an incredible accomplishment. This piece sounds really awesome, right from the beginning. It has such a chilled, but melodic intro, that sounds awesome. The transition into the drop is pretty cool, however, and blends that really chill feeling with some awesome wobbles. This really is the story of a drop, give it a listen! 

3. ArJaay - Freaky Voice

Freaky Voice is a dubstep track by ArJaay that has some awesome stuff going on through it. The vocals have an awesome Daft Punk feel to them, and the drop is pretty cool. Anyways, the track is pretty hard to describe with words, so listen to the freaky voice!

Honorable Mentions:

• Zake - Our Last Chance (StationSix's Summer Remix) - This is a really nice remix of Zake's Our Last Chance, if you haven't heard it already. It keeps the beautiful melody of the original, but adds StationSix's own special touch.
• Inaki - Million Bit Fantasy - Inaki wanted an Adventure Club feel to this piece, and that he accomplished! It sounds really cool, and has some nice melodies. Give this a listen!
• Zedd feat. Matthew Koma - Spectrum (Melotrip Remix) - Haven't there been enough of these already? I said that too, until I heard Melotrip's. It sounds really cool, with a nice background synth to blend with the original vocals.

Will.I.Am & Eva Simons - This is Love (Seif Remix)

I love Seif's dirty dutch house. It's really awesome. In this remix, Seif combined his awesome melody with the vocals of Will.i.am and Eva Simons. But the drop is the main highlight of this track. It has an awesome buildup, which really gets it going, but then it just hits! Amazing track, give this a listen!

Drane is an electro house track by Tristam that really shows his full potential. It sounds amazing, with the awesome synth intro. The drop is also incredible, with that really heavy bass. I can't wait to hear the final version of this, especially after his "I Remember!"

Outside The Box is a sweet dubstep track by Obsidia, released through Monstercat. It really is an incredible piece to listen to. Right from the start, the incredible introduction gets the track going. It is really cool to listen to. Then, it gets hit by an awesome bass, that's filthy as hell. Give this a listen, it's a pretty cool track!

Adventure Club really takes a new route with Retro City. It has a different sound from the rest of Adventure Club's tracks, with a cool moombah feel to it. The chopped vocals in Retro City sound awesome! The sampling was really well done. Give this a listen!

Zake - FFZ & Calling Remix

Zake is an extremely talented producer from Denmark, and has been pushing out some great tracks. His latest two tracks have a really different style from most of his other tracks, especially FFZ. FFZ is an electro house track that has some awesome bass, that isn't really heard as much in his other songs. It's pretty cool to listen to. His remix of Calling is incredible, and really shows his awesome uplifting house style. It has a great melody, and combines the synths with the vocals awesomely. Both of these tracks are awesome!

Zedd feat. Matthew Koma - Spectrum (3LAU Remix)

3LAU's incredible production skills are back. His remix of Zedd's Spectrum is definitely one of the best remixes out there, and quite possibly even better than the original. There have been a lot of dubstep remixes of this track, but instead of taking that route, 3LAU went on a different one. This is an awesome progressive house track, that really makes use of every great aspect of the original track, while combining in his own awesome feel. Give this a listen!
